During this period we will only be taking emergency appointments only.

Patient Notice – Appointment system change

From 27th May 2024,

We are changing the way we book appointments.

Our GP's see over 2000 appointments a month and we need to prioritise those who need our most urgent care, but acknowledge the frustration that patients feel when we have no appointments available, and the need for patients to be able to pre-book an advanced appointment. We have therefore made the decision to change the way we allocate our appointments.
At 08.00am we will be taking urgent same day requests only by phone. These will be triaged by our care navigators in the practice. You may also be guided to alternative treatment options if more appropriate. You will not be able to request an appointment for a routine problem at 08.00am.

Any routine appointment requests will now be taken from 2pm. Routine appointments will usually be booked up to 2 weeks in advance to start with, these appointments will also be available via NHS APP. Be assured that if the GP’s need to speak to you more urgently after we get results, we will contact you to arrange a more timely appointment.
